Dark green fitted kitchen with compact laminate worktops and a waterfall island
A tired kitchen emptied, stripped back and rebuilt around a new layout: dark green cabinets, marble-effect compact laminate worktops carried over the island as a waterfall edge, bevelled metro tiling and a ceramic farmhouse sink.
Taken back to brick
The old kitchen was emptied and removed, then the walls were stripped back to bare brick and block so the room could be re-planned properly. Socket positions and plumbing were moved to suit the new layout before the walls were made good and skimmed ready for fitting.
Fitted to the room
New cabinetry went in along the walls and across the island, with marble-effect compact laminate worktops carried over the end of the island as a waterfall edge. The splashback is bevelled metro tiling with a warmer accent trim, and the sink run under the window has a ceramic farmhouse sink with a brass bridge tap.
A darker, warmer kitchen
Dark green doors against pale worktops and light tiling give the room far more character than the pale cabinets and tan tiling they replaced, while the island gives the room a proper working centre.
