Bespoke kitchen snug TV unit with integrated radiator cover
A bare snug wall with a freestanding TV, trailing cables and a radiator in the way — transformed into a made-to-measure gloss MFC media unit with hidden cabling, a drop-down media flap and slatted radiator doors.
The problem
The snug wall wasn't working hard. The TV sat on a freestanding table with cables trailing down to the sockets, and the radiator below took up wall space without adding anything. The customer wanted one built-in piece that would tidy all of it away.
Design and build
The unit was drawn up to measure before any board was cut, so every section had a purpose. The customer's Samsung art TV is wall-mounted on a framed back panel with the cabling hidden behind it, a drop-down flap below conceals the Sky box and media equipment, and the radiator sits behind slatted double doors so the heat still flows freely into the room.
The finish
Built from gloss MFC to sit naturally alongside the kitchen — hard-wearing, easy to wipe clean and with a sleek fitted look. A display shelf sits above the TV, a storage drawer beneath it, with clean scribed details at the floor and corners. From a bare wall to a fitted centrepiece that looks like it was always meant to be there.
