Living room transformation with bespoke bar and panelled TV wall
A living room with unused corners and no clear purpose — reworked end to end with a bespoke bar, a panelled TV wall with art TV, solid oak window sills, a storage window bench, new skirting and wall panelling throughout.
The problem
The customer knew the room wasn't working but didn't know how to bring it together. Areas sat unused, the PVC window sills let the room down, and there was no natural spot to relax or entertain. They wanted one joined-up plan for the whole space.
The transformation
Every part of the room was upgraded. A bespoke bar went in with a solid oak top, panelled base, mirrored back with glass shelves and a built-in wine cooler. The chimney breast was panelled and fitted with the customer's Samsung art TV and an oak floating shelf above the log burner. The old PVC window sills came out and were replaced with solid oak, and a window bench with hidden storage turned the bay into a proper seat.
The finish
New skirting boards, shelving and wall panelling tie the whole room together, with the blue-grey panelling sitting warm against the oak tops and sills. What was a room of leftover corners is now a space built for relaxing and entertaining.
